More often than not this is an issue with the voltage regulator. The easiest way to tell is to get a multi-meter or ohm meter and test it. You can get cheap testers at Northern Tool, Harbor Freight, Home Depot, etc. for about $5. Basically all you do is touch the positive and negative leads of the tester to the posts on the regulator while the bike is not running and the key is in the off position. If the needle moves at all on the meter, there is current passing through the regulator and it should be replaceed.

It won't stop washing, after a while the diital screen flashes "F3"

Hello Matthew, welcome to FixYa.

To address your post of the washer running a long time and eventually displaying an "F3"...they are directly related. These will not spin until they drain sufficiently.

The F3 indicates an issue with the drain, pump filter, or the pump itself. There is typically a drain filter in the pump as you may or may not know, based on your description it may be clogged. You'll need to access it, clean it out via draining it through the pump "emergency drain hose" before you can in the end open the door (though usually once drained to a safe level it will open under normal procedures) however there should be a door lock release on Asko built machines...including this series you posted
.

**This is the procedure for machines of the past 10yrs. or so...(this is only an example, it may not be exact but essentially the same as yours as well as most W600 or 6000 series)**

Hopefully this will help. Let me know if anything is unclear or If I can assist you going forward. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck going forward.

The screen just keeps saying that windows didnt start succesfully and it gives me 5 options to start none of which works please help??

Welcome to Fixya!!!
If all the the options in the Advance option wont work. 1.Removed your battery, ac adapter and drain you power button for 5 to 10 seconds. 2. Used only ac adapter and turn on the laptop keep on tapping f8 3. Tried any option again. first choice would be last known good configuration. then try safemode 4.If you are successful in going to safemode, try to do system restore. If it fails to load all oftions, and you dont have any important files -Try to reboot pc and hit f3 to reset the computer to factory setting. it will open a prompt to do a complete restore. If f3 does not work- the recovery partition is already corrupted. -You need to call MSI tech support to get a recovery disc from MSI -You need to resinstall the Operating System.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Possible suspects:
  • IC Ignitor (CDI) (most likely);
  • connectors (likely)
  • pulser coil (least likely).

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
