Try loosening the bolts holding the front master cylinder on the handlebars. Slide the master cylinder down as close as possible to the right handlebar switch housing. If this doesn't work, the front brake light switch is probably bad and needs to be replaced in the right switch housing.

easier to unplug the rear brake light switch down behind your (right)heel and see if light goes out- that's the problem with mine. must be common problem as the switch has been back ordered for at least 2 months from harley dealer
Sure, it all you want to do is find out if that'st he problem. I've seen too many people that have done some work on the front brake or changed the grips on their bikes and now all of a sudden, the brake light stays on. This is a suggestion on how to fix it. And, you're right about this being a major problem. It has been Harley went to a front brake light. The preferred method would be a pressure switch like the one on the rear only in a smaller size.
