Question about Yamaha XVS 650 Dragstar Classic Motorcycles

My yamaha virago XV750.It has problem with starter bandix gear.so I would like you advice me How can I fix it or buy it with best price

Your Yamaha dealer sells a set of three washers/spacers (thin about 1-3/4" across) that probably were never put in your starter. It is a fix for intermittent or non working starters. The dealer should be able to tell you where they go in the starter.
