Your 2005 RK came with H-D Syn3 20W50 synthetic motor oil in the transmission. There are other lubricants available such as Amsoil, Royal Purple, and Mobil. You'll have to go to their websites to find out which ones are compatible with your intended usage.

You could have the dealership install the 103 CI kit if you like but no it didnt come from the factory with that engine in it already, only the CVO bikes such as the FLHRSE and FLHRSEI came with the 103 CI motor installed from the factory.

Location of oil drain plug on harley davidson road king

The tank on your Road King is on the bottom of the transmission. Look underneath the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The plug on left front of the oil pan is the engine oil drain. The plug near the center of the pan is the transmission drain plug. Good Luck, Steve
