New battery installed. Power in battery keeps draining out.
Alternator checked out fine though...What else could it be?
Hi!
There seems that the current is leaking frm somewhere.
Firstly put off all equipment and ignation.
Keep a multimeter in hand.
Remove all the fuses frm the fuse box.
Now..
one by one touch the pin of the multimeter(RED) to one end of fuse solket and the other (Black) pin to the other soket where the fuse sits.
There should be NO reading... keep going from one fuse point to another.... the point wher the multimeter reads while all switches OFF means from tat equiptment the current is leaking... Now check That fuse is for which equiptment e.g. for AC or for blinkers or for headlights etc etc.
Get thet unit checked / repaired / changed as the case may be.

Hi...
this is because the battery is not getting charged.even though alternator is ok then the wire going to the battery charging unit may be chopped off so no output is going from the alternator for battery charging..check the wire.
when the battery is fully charged there is some small amount of charge wil be going to the battery.this is called as trickle charging.when this charging mode is not working then there wil be loss of charge form the battery. check this circuit also.

1.Make sure your battery terminal connections are really clean. If needed clean with a battery post brush and snug them up.
2. Check all courtesy lights, chargers, outlets, even in the consoles, under the hood, glove box...make sure they're all off when they should be.
