Before condemning switch....look at the plunger on the switch that the lever rests against...the plunnger can stick in, so when the lever is moved you get no brake light. I thought the brake light has its own feed from the battery as the brake light works with or without ignition on mine. Maybe a blown fuse or poor earth. Check for 12 volts on the switches.
Start with a new brake\tail bulb, then try unplugging the front brake switch on the handle bars , then try unplugging the rear brake switch. one of these options should locate a problem
Howdy: Front, jack stand, pull calibers with brake hose connected and set aside. Unbolt axle clamps each side. You home free. For the rear,
juck stand, loosen rear axle nut. Pull calibers, set aside. Need to wiggle
tire backward so the driveshaft pulls out. thats about it. Puttin the front and rear back on you will need help for alignment. Goog luck - Doug
