If all the oil in the gearbox has gone milky or a bit like mayonnaise then the water pump is leaking coolant into the oil.this can he caused by either a damaged seal or a worn shaft or bearing.it can also be caused by a head gasket leaking and blowing burnt glass not the water jacket which highly compresses the cooling system and forces the water past the seals into the oil.
Sounds like the air box drain. This is normally to allow any water that might enter the box to drain. Usually when oil flows from this tube it is from overfilling the engine with oil and it is blowing back into the airbox through the crankcase breather tube. This can also happen in the case of carb problems that allow the engine to be flooded with gas thus overfilling it. In this case what you see will be very thin and smell of gasoline.
You have "blow by",..which is a sign of the piston rings going south. Check compression,...it should have around 140psi,...if not,and its blowing by that much oil, then its time for a top end rebuild.
The breather tube is there to eliminate a buildup of pressure in the gearbox. The pressure is blow-by, (compression getting past the piston rings). Normally only a bit of blow-by occurs. As the bike ages, the rings don't seal up as well due to wear and cylinder expansion deformities. Now the blow-by is becoming a problem. The air/fuel mixture getting past the rings is diluting the oil and actually raising the "oil" level in the gearbox. This puts the oil closer to the vent hose and the increased blow-by pressure carries some of the oil into the air box. What should be done is a fresh bore of the cylinder and new first oversize piston and rings installed. Then do an oil change. Also, have the shop re-seat the valves while the head is off. Now you have a new top end. The bike will perform better now. A less expensive "work-around" is to just change the oil more frequently to maintain proper oil level.
One oil filler, check your manual or download one from one of the manual sites on fixya. Quantity is written on crancase generally, or dipstick on filler plug, The oilpump, pumps the oil throughout engine.
