it is a bit of a time consuming job it would be best to get a diagram to see where everything goes as this will help you alot otherwise take to a mechanic.

No you do not, there will be a small plastic cover over the door mounted tweeter.
Squeeze it with your fingers and you should be able to pop it right off.
There are two screws on the speaker and the others should be visible on removal of the speaker itself.
I suggest you bring a soldering iron or a pair of wire cutters because the speaker wiring is soldered on the speaker and the speaker will not fall back through the speaker frame.

if you open the door you can pop off 2 pieces of plastic that reveal 3 bolts. 3/16 (i think)socket works and you will need an extender. but it is literally 3 bolts and that is it. i bought the part from a dealer and it was $40 and they wanted $90 for install. took me 15 min.

If its a power mirror there is more thing you will have to remove to get to the wires but if not there is a screw on the corner piece on the inside of the door. just pull the screw out and the bolts (3) that hold the mirror on are behind it. If it power then you will have to remove the door panel to access the wiring to disconnect it
