There are 2 bolts under the front area of the forward seat each side remove the 2 bolts lift the seat and forward to remove, then you will see 2 more bolts for the rear seat remove them slide the seat forward and remove it.

How do I remove the battery from my 1996 Suzuki VS800 Intruder? Thanks Terry F

You asked a specific question, thanks. I don't have experience with your specific bike ... but my general answer may apply. Remove the seat. Should be one or two bolts at the rear of the seat to remove. The battery will be below the seat.

Thanks for your question

2000 Suzuki Intruder VS800, I noticed while idleing there is a poddle of what appears to be gas and oil from the joint @ tail pipe. What is wrong?

Most likely, this is just water. Especially true if this happens only when the engine and exhaust are cold. Try tightening the clamp more securily at the joint - there are drain holes in the bottom of the exhaust pipes designed to allow this (normal) condensation to drain from the system.
