Question about Honda VT 500 C Motorcycles
Stem is a vague reference to some front end part I assume, please explain exactly what u are replacing? Thanks

U must remove the headligh bulb for access to the stem bolts and electrical connector.
on many bikes like yours just cut the wires and crimp the new wires to the old wires, otherwise u must remove the entire headlight assembly just use 18 gage but t connectors and a proper connector crimping toll, avail from any auto parts store for about $5

We are talking about the left hand turn signal assembly. The stem I'm referring to is the plastic element that connects the light case the fork.
I removed it but I can remove the electrical cables feeding power to the bulb!
I was avoiding taking the bike to the local shop, he is a bit sloppy. I'll take it there tomorrow. Thanks!
