First you connect a scan tool and read the codes. Then the code tells you WHY you are in Limp Mode. Then you fix whatever is wrong and the scan tool rests the code. Limp Mode is ONLY activated if something is wrong that can catastrophically damage the engine. You don't just turn it off and hope for the best.
The relay should pull in steadily. Check the connections with a meter, on the motor. The battery may be fine but a little corrosion on a battery contact will cause this.
No they are not left hand thead,normal r/h thread. make sure chain is still on bike and front sproket and then try good rattle gun. if this does not work,put bike in gear and hold on rear brake and use long breaker bar, if still no good will need to heat front sproket nut with oxy set very carefully and rattle off with rattle gun while nut is hot
