I have had carbi clean out and new spark plug, valves checked, new kill switch, could it just be a faulty wire, or is it the stator? Why is it only when the bike gets hot?

Bad spark plug, tight valve clearances, short in key switch or kill button, blocked fuel filter (There is usually one inside the tank on the fuel tap pick up)

SOURCE: 2007 KXF 250 electrical problem

when the ignition parts like the coil and the transistors in the cdi unit gets warmed up they dont work as well as when there cool,,,so a problem thats not there when cold will be there when its hot,,,,if the stator has a small fault in it when cold when it gets hot it turns into a big fault! the best way to find this fault is by swoping one part at a time till you fine the faulty part,,,or put it into the bike shop and pay through the knows for the fix? have you a friend with the same type of bike you could swop the parts with??? it a big big help if you have! i would start with the coil then the cdi unit,,,there the most likley parts to play up when they get to hot they go faulty!

Bike is totally choked

You mean flooded (with too much gas)?

You said the carbs were cleaned.
Did it work ok after that, or is that when the problem started?
Do you use the choke to start it when cold? When warm/hot? not at all because you figure its getting too much gas as it is?

I HAVE A HONDA 2005 HONDA SHADOW AERO. RAN FINE YESTER DAY. WENT TO START IT THIS MORNING AND FORGOT TO PULL OUT CHOKE IT STARTED THEN DIED. PULLED THE CHOKE STARTED UP AND RAN FOR 45 SECONDS AND THEN...

You have 2 solutions : take out the spark plugs and dry them with cloth, put them back in and start the bike.
Or, leave the bike over the night and the excess fuel on spark plugs will evaporate.
If the engine is hot and you have this problem, just leave the bike for half an hour and start it.

Cant get my 125cc motor bike going for the first time

hummm check your electrical connections make sure you have the stop run switch is in run position, you have fuel flow to the carb, make sure you are getting spark to the spark plug by using a extra spark plug remove the plug cap and ground it to the head and kick start the engine and see if you are getting spark to the plug.
hope this helps

You need to get basic checks.

Is there spark?
Is there petrol at plugs?
Is timing correct?
Compressions OK.?

2003 883 sportster wont start

What u are describing is typical of a faulty ignition system, but could also be a fuel problem. I check by removing the aircleaner and rotating the throttle. If u see a nice spray of fuel, thats probably not the problem. Check for a spark at the plugs. I can explain how if you need me to. If you cant see a good spark, U have an electrical problem. I had a crank position sensor go bad on me. Dont do what I did (replaced the battery, ignition, and regulator as part of my diagnosis procedure)
