No spark Installed new spark plugs and still no spark.

Test the compression using a compression tester.
My guess a valve is stuck closed.
A compression test will show this.

- Spark at the plug - pull some plug(s), reconnect the lead, and check for spark at the electrode. Hot and Blue
- Fuel in the jug - Fuel injection or carb?
If plugs are wet, fuel but no spark
If plugs are dry, no fuel.

Clogged air filter or intake or clogged exhaust.

check gas/oil, if all is good the pull the spark plug, hook the spark plug back up and pull the cord while observing the spark plug for spark, may be the coil. Hope this helps Tim

anybody thought to check if the timing belt is still turning the cam shaft
That is one reason that engine just stop dead with no spark

the air gap should be .012", the gap you have it set at is to small.reset the gap and try it again.......hope this helps,let me know........

Sounds like either wires are not connected properly, or need new set of wires. More likely wires are installed incorrectly. One other possibility is wrong plugs or installed improperly

I had the same problem on a P3416 saw. I had a new Champion plug and coil installed. I tested the plug by removing it and plugging it in the coil wire and ground the end of the plug on the engine block. It did not spark so I bought another plug. This one fired but it was real weak so I loosen the coil and slipped a piece of light folder paper between the coil and magnets and tighten the bolts. Got a better spark and got it to run.

on top center of the engine. You would have to remove the intake hose. There is 6 COPs or Coil over plugs mounted on top of the sparkplugs. Remove those and the sparkplugs are accessable. Hopefully this helps
