I have a 6.5 hp briggs and stratton quantum pressure washer and it was working fine two months ago. Yesterday, I tried to start it and it would not start. I replaced the spark plug and air filter. If I spray carburator cleaner into the carburator, it will start and then die.

Its not getting any fule to carb strip down all fule lines and any fule taps to check there clean and fule flows freely then strip carb and clean out all jets,,,dont go poking wire into the jets it could distroy them use compressed air or card cleaner on jets

Try loosening the gas cap and see if it runs longer. Vented gas caps tend to get plugged and will prevent fuel flow to carb

It sounds like the pump is seized. Make sure any pressure has been released by pulling the trigger on the gun. Sometimes this will allow you pull the cord. If the pump is seized, a new pump would be in order.

the pressure relief valve(bypass) is most likely stuck or clogged. take the relief valve off and check for broken or jammed parts..there should be a bypass hose that goes around the pressure valve
