Hi if the fork leg (Crome) measures 26 mm the capacity is 150 ml if the leg measures 33 mm it's 238 ml. Regards Jim...

if the light just comes on before starting....its probably a light test check...Yamaha does this on many models so you know the bullb works.

If it is on with engine running...different issue.

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.
