Engine propblem i have a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gs-t and i was driving it to school one day and noticed that the temperture gauge went into the hot zone then the oil gauge dropped to the no oil zone and all this white smoke can out of my engine. when i opened the hood the left side of the engine was covered in oil and it was all over the radiator pipes and the right side of the engine was leakin anti-freeze, had to get car towed home and when you go to start it it turns over but wont start, some people saw i blew the block and others say i blew the head gasket, would you know what the problem might be??

Usually when you get white smoke its because ur head gasket blew mixing antifreeze and engine oil look at ur oil and see if its a milky white color.car will not start beacuse ur loosing compression threw the gasket blowing..

I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gs non turbo that has a water outlet that has been pitted and needs replacing. I cannot find the outlet for the non-turbo. Any suggestions?

Your problem is most likely because you are describing your vehicle as a "Gs". The only similar listings in the catalog are for a "GSX". (The parts counter person probably has no clue that there is a difference) The GSX is only built in a turbo version, therefore you will not find a water outlet for the non-turbo version...it simply does not exist.

Now, if you simply describe it as an Eclipse, there are water outlets listed for the turbo 2.0L, the non-turbo 2.0L and the non-turbo 2.4L engines. You did not bother to mention engine size, so I will list the part numbers for BOTH of the non-turbo engines.

For the 2.4L engine: Compressor Works Part Number 815517

For the 2.0L engine: Compressor Works Part Number 815576

Both are available from AutoZone

While braking and while driving suspension system pops 1997 Mitsubiti Eclipse 2.0 GS Auto

check your shocks first, then make sure the brake booster isn't acting up. it'll be a lot cheaper if you just take your car to a good suspension service shop, instead of becoming a PART SWAPPER, LOL
