You need the owners manual, which you can order from Honda, and follow the operating under severe conditions schedule. This a high performance version of the civic and should demand more frequent maint. My 05 Accord owners manual, under normal operating conditions, has some ridiculous 10k for the oil and 20k for the filter change sched. Meanwhile, my Honda service rep. pulled me to the side and says change oil and filter every 4k. You be the judge.
Manuals for the 89-95 gsf 250 bandit are only online due to it being an import bike but most suzuki dealers will print you off the pages that you need and assist you with any information required.
You should be able to press "cancel" or "sched" to bring back the schedule function. It will display "following schedule" on the right side of the display when the schedule is on. If you press "sched" then "edit" you can make changes to the programming schedule.
I'm in Australia and have a bandit export. I have found a web site for an english company and I have had original parts sent from it at a reasonable price. Check it out wemoto.com
No. The gs500 has rotor on right side. 600s have two rotors. The following website will let you compare part numbers. http://www.suzukipartshouse.net/pages/parts/viewbybrand/parts.aspx
