Battery changeout I'm out of town w/out my manual and have a dead battery on ultra (06). How do you access the battery?

The batteries must be installed before using your safe. The battery compartment is located inside the safe on the lock cover panel.
Note: If both green and red LED's are on, it is an indicator that the batteries are weak and must be changed immediately. The User Code will not be erased if power is restored by replacing the
batteries within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the User Code will be erased and will need to be reprogrammed. Weak or dead batteries should be replaced immediately and all 4 batteries should be changed. To replace the batteries please follow STEPS 1 - 3. Remember to always remove batteries from safe if not using for an extended period of time. If your batteries are completely dead and you cannot o pen the safe by using the digital keypad, use the override access key to open safe
and access the battery compartment. The use of Non-alkaline or rechargeable batteries is NOT
RECOMMENDED.

Should be a crank or access to do manually if battery goes dead plug in or plug in 7 pin

I forgot my Parent Lock code, how can I access parent settings on the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra, or LeapPad Platinum?If you forgot the four digit parent lock code you set up for the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra or LeapPad Platinum, you may retrieve the code with these steps:
1. Using a computer or other device connected to the internet, go to www.leapfrog.com
2. Click "Log In/Register" (or "My Account" if already signed in) on the top right of the page.
3. Sign in with the email address used to set up the LeapPad.
4. You'll land on the "My Account" page.
5. Click "Account Information". Directly beneath the orange "Edit" button you will see the Parent Lock code information for any LeapPad3 or LeapPad Ultra set up using this account.

Remote key entry will not work if the key battery is dead. the key "transmitter" sends out a radio wave continuously and the receiver which is located in the vehicle recognizes that signal, unlocking the vehicle. If the battery is dead there is always another manual option to gain access to the vehicle.

Everything depends on equipment/tools/expertise available. Total changeout can be done in under 10 hours, figuring you are doing it alone.

If it's the original battery, replace it, and check the charging system to make sure it's charging properly.

ron, if your batteries have ever gone dead or amps has gotten below norm, then the batteries will never hold a charge again. replace batteries.

Check plug on front of engine where charging system plugs in. Faulty plug connection possible.

1st Check the 25amp inline fuse located behind the volt meter. 2nd Check the 50 amp fuse located behind the foot rest. A pin located under the foot rest when pulled out will open the front to access the fuse.
