1, When working on anything electrical always disconnect the battery.
2. There is a main fuse on the bike that you need to find and check.

Sterio wiring guide for 1994 holden nova

If you have a new head unit then you should have (or can download) the wiring layout for the unit. In regard to the car, you will have a number of wires to identify. Try following these steps:

1. With ignition off. Using a meter or test lamp identify the wire that has permanent 12V. Note this and protect the end (tape it) to stop accidental shorts. This is your permanent 12V.

2. With the ignition on look for another wire that now has 12V. Verify that it comes and goes when you turn the ignition switch. Note this and protect the end of this one also. This is your switched 12V.

3. With the ignition off, and the meter set to measure resistance check the remaining wires for one that shows connection/short to a solid chassis ground point. This is your earth.

4. Speaker wires should be fairly obvious pairs solid colours with a mate that is the same solid colour and a stripe e.g. last one I did was green + green and black stripe on one side and grey + grey/black on the other. To ID left and right just get an AA battery and touch this wires on each end of the battery you will hear a scratching noise in the speakers. Note which colour goes to which side.

5. Wire remaining (if any) will be a remote power antenna lead if fitted.

Shouldnt be any added complexity in a 94 car.

New sterio now car dont start

Definitively there are some wires hook backwards with the connections. You would need to check very careful te wiring on your cars connectors. However, the installing of a new stereo shouldn't give you all that trouble. I have install a lot of stereos on cars and this is new to me. No't despair, it could all be but a wrong connection.

Dell Dimension 4400 NEVER froze (8-9 years old) until a week ago - kept freezing at start-up - - had to interrupt power SEVERAL times to restart - - tried to power up yesterday - - make a slight sound,...

You need a power supply! Go to Amazon and search for one that is the same specs as yours. Fairly easy to replace, don't use your old one anymore, it could be dangerous.

Won't turn on & don't know how to hook up to a 1963 pickup.

Don't get confused, it's very simple. +12v----direct supply from battery.
REM---also 12+ supplied from igntion switch. (when the key is turned on, this supply should have 12+ to on the amplifier.
GND--12- minus (negative)
Try it you will be able to set this up. REM can also be used with a single switch which can break the 12+ when amplifer is not in use, or else this will take all ur power battery. You can place a fuse on 12+. Thanks

Green power. HELP!

This could be a problem with your power supply. If the motherboard sees that the voltages from your power supply are low, it will turn itself back off.

You can test your power supply by unplugging all of your internal power cables, ground out the green wire on the 20-pin/24-pin ATX connector and check your yellow (12v), red (5v) and orange (3.3v) wires. If the voltages come back more than 10-15% off, you will most likely need a new power supply.
Even if you have good voltages using the test method above, it is only an indication that your voltages are good at zero load. Your power supply may still fail under normal load. If you have recently added any hardware to your computer, remove it and try again. If this still doesn't work or you haven't added any hardware recently, replace your power supply.

Engine won't start!!!!!

It's possible the "anti-thielf" system has been failing and went out while you was driving. If the ignition key has a chip in the shaft of the key your car has anti-thieft. It's possible the system doesn't reconisethe igntion key and shut the system down. Try using another igntion key if it came with 2 keys. If the engine started you'll need to get the other igntion key replace.

Will not play , loud clicking noise. No lights nothing.

Ther clicking is probably coming from a relay and it is cycling because either the power supply itself or possibly an audio output power module has failed, the latter will overload the power supply so it tries to protect itself by interrupting either the AC or a DC voltage supplied by it.
This problem will likely require the hands-on of technical help.
