BlackBerry 8700g I dropped my BlackBerry 8700g. The screen went blank. I switched it off and tried to switch on again, but no luck. I tried a soft reset (Alt+Cap+Del), but again no luck. I removed and re-inserted the battery; the LED lights up RED for a few seconds and then goes off. Still it does not switch on. I tried a hard reset; again still does not switch on. If I do a soft reset, the LED comes on for a few seconds and then goes off. Any assistance would be appreciated

I need the unlock code for my blackberry 8700g imei- 357646003650271 on t-mobile so i can use any sim

Dear Katayha,

You can unlock your Blackberry 8700g now from HERE with Blackberry unlocking codes with IMEI. They are very best at what they provide to their customers. They have great customer service and provide high quality, reliable and most of all; CHEAPEST unlocking codes to their present and potential customers. I was reluctant to use their service at first, but once I did, I never went to anybody else because I found them very friendly and cost effective.

I hope they would give you the same friendly attitude and cheapest but reliable unlocking codes like they always do.

Best of luck :)

How to reset your Blackberry

Performing a soft reset stops all applications on the BlackBerry device by pressing the ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys. A soft reset re-establishes communication between the BlackBerry device and the computer.

Performing a double-soft reset stops all applications on the BlackBerry device and is nearly the equivalent of a hard reset. Timing however is critical. Perform a soft reset by pressing the ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys. The screen will go blank. When the screen is no longer black, press the ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys again. You should then see another blank screen followed by an hour glass.

The first step in troubleshooting a networ, software or hardware error is often to perform a hard reset. With Java® based devices, this is accomplished by removing the battery, while the BlackBerry device is powered on. Hold the battery out for about 30 seconds, and replace. The BlackBerry device will reboot.

I locked my phone. Every time I unlock it I would have to put my password in. I put my password in, and it said incorrect. I know it was correct, I don't forget my password. So I kept trying it and trying...

You will need to reset the phone for everything to return to normal. I would advice you perform a double soft reset, though it is a bit tactical. Blackberry screen is blank and indicater blinking but phone not getting rebooted

Sounds like a corrupted OS once again, try a battery pull if you haven't already.

Next you'll want to do a device wipe and fresh OS install, this is easily done with Desktop Manager or BBSAK

Need to get back a default software/application but how?

Resetting the BlackBerry device is a useful way to resolve issues and is usually the first step in troubleshooting the BlackBerry device. Knowing the differences between a hard, soft, double-soft, and master reset ensures that the correct troubleshooting method has been chosen. Note: Backup all applications before resetting the BlackBerry device using the Backup and Restore tool on the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Please follow the below steps or resetting

Performing a SOFT reset on the BlackBerry device Performing a soft reset stops all applications on the BlackBerry device by pressing the ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys. A soft reset re-establishes communication between the BlackBerry device and the computer.
Note: This does not apply to the BlackBerry® Pearl™ smartphone.
Performing a DOUBLE-SOFT reset on the BlackBerry device Performing a double-soft reset stops all applications on the BlackBerry device and is nearly the equivalent of a hard reset.
Note: This does not apply to the BlackBerry® Pearl™ smartphone.

Full hard format for blackberry 8700g

To delete all the data, go into Options / Security Options / General Settings, clik the wheel and then click Wipe Handheld.

This will remove all of the DATA, and not any of the applications.
