Where is the oil pump situated on a CateraS 2001.Have low oil pressure when idling or at a red light.

Hi Rejean, I suggest you have the oil pressure sender unit inspected before thinking of replacing the oil pump. If it's the sender unit the job will be a fraction of the cost of an oil pump replacement, which means opening the engine. Regards John

Oil pressure light comes on after engin fluid flush and oil sencer change what could be the problem

The oil pump is the next step.
It could be bearing or other things like blocked return flow that did not come out with the flush, bearings on the cam shaft etc.

Have a 96 chevy cavalier. replaced IAC,fuel pump assembly, fuel filter, tested and adjusted TPS but still haveing problem with car shutting off after about 30 mins of driving. Also once "warms" up during...

If your oil pressure gets to low it can turn off the fuel pump. This may also have saved your engine. The ECM turns on the fuel thru the fuel pump relay for about 5 seconds. When engine is running oil pressure sender supplies the voltage to the pump. When engine shuts off check oil pressure and voltage to fuel pump.

Oil Pressure gauge drops to 0 and then goes back up

You may have a defective oil sender or oil pump or the wire is loose. Why did you replace the sender and pump. If this was going on before this you couple have an engine issue. Take it in before it destroys the engine. Chrysler/Dodge has has lots of issues with oiling problems.
