If the pads are stuck its down to the brake cylinders that are sezed up pull out the pads and clean the brake cylinders untill you can push them in by hand, pumping the clinders out a little first will help get to the dirty parts be cearfull not to scratch the pistons when your cleaning them and use some coper grees on the back of the pads when you refit them use WD 40 on the drake cylinders to free them off after cleaning them off

Front brakes lock up

Hi Walter
You said, The front brakes lock up.
Hoe this is happening? Is the wheels lock up by itself?
If this the case, you need to check the front brake flexible hoses for blockage and/or the brake booster pushing rod needs adjustment. (Should be 1MM away from master cylinder).
Good luck

Jeep liberty front brakes lock on ?

is it both wheels? check the line going to the wheel or wheels that are locking up, if there is any sign of a fluid leak replace the line. when they leak they will apply enough pressure to lock the brake, but will not release the pressure there for it stays locked

I can bleed the front brakes and leave my bike over night and the front brake will lock up completly fairly new brake pads and brand new front brake resivor

It sounds like you have an air lock in the system .
I would make sure to use the right brake fluid , drain the system and bleed the brakes again and making sure that no air is locked in the system

Brake lock-up

I suspect that you have front disc and rear drum brakes. You did not say which of your brakes are locking up. I suggest that if your front brakes are locking {skid} that means your rear brakes are not engaging. If your rear brakes are locking {skid} then I suggest you have problems with park brake or brake fluid leaking onto the rear shoes.
More info would help me help you. I will check back soon.

Front brakes locking up

Sounds like the front brake hoses went bad on you. Fluid goes into the calipers and builds up pressure, and applies the brakes, because the fluid can't come back out of the calipers. Usually when hoses go, they tear on the inside, creating a one way valve type of flap. I hope that this helped. Best wishes to ya.
