Try http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp , I also have a FZ750 and downloaded the manual, but could not find it when I looked for you. If you can't find it, let me know and I will find a way of getting you a copy of mine. I also have a complete workshop manual on CD-ROM

I just bought an 1986 FZ 750. I need parts

Just restored a yammy and found wemoto site excellent. Just enter wemoto/yamaha or wemoto.com into search engine and go from there. Secondhand stuff is generally ebay or wrecking depots/warehouses.
Cheers.

1987/88 fzr750 cannot see timing mark on crank to set up cam timing can see three lines on crank which to use?

hi,this might help, the way i do any engine is simply, rotate the engine untill no1 cylinder reaches top dead centre, the three marks on the crank will be(normally) 3deg before tdc, then tdc, then 3 deg after tdc.,so no1 to tdc,see whwt the marks line up on(normally the centre of the cdi pickup )then set the camshafts, these are normally marked to run on a level plane with the engine rocker cover,so 1 mark on the front cam normally points to the front of the engine on a level with the roker cover base and the rear cam mark normally points to the rear of the engine with the mark level with the rocker cover base, then you reinstall the cam chain and sprockets, keeping the front of the camchain tight (the rear of the chain will tighten after the tensioner is reinstalled)if you have a workshop manual follow that,as what i have said is general rule of thumb and it may vary slightly to the manual, hope this helps..,.cheers
