Battery keeps dying in my Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Had it checked and it is a good battery. I think it is the alternator?
Possible reg/rec issue or the stator....if you have a multi meter you can check the stator by unplugging and hooking up to the stator (component side), set multi meter to volts a/c and connect each plug for voltage. then do a residence test on the stator.
reg/rec issue, make sure you have proper ground, do a diode test to make sure that it is d/c and not a/c
My 2006 vulcan 900 won't start after I replaced starter and battery. It makes a tickering sound when I try to turn it on.
