How much gas does it hold when you fill it up at empty? if you call your local dealer with the vin number whe parts people gan tell you the exact size.

The pump is in the gas tank. On some early 90s models you could access the pump thru an access plate without dropping the tank. Otherwise you have to drop the tank and take the pump out thru the top. If you do replace it, make sure you replace the filter too.
Have you replaced your fuel filter? how about the quality of the fuel in your gas tank? Have you tried gas dryer for the fuel tank? checked the spark plugs and/ or the ohms resistance on the spark plug wires?

The gas tank capacity is 20 US gallons, but the tank will really only hold about 19.5 gallons. As far as mileage goes that really depends on your driving habits and the load it carries, just you? more? I would think that your average miles to the gallon would be in the range of 14-16 town and highway.

it is kinda, its located on the top side of tank, ive found in order to dissconnect the lines to it, i have to lower the ******** one side and loosen the ******** the otherside of tank. in order to lower the tank enough to remove the lines, good luck. also there are two size filters,it comes with a line, it depends on wheel base, and also if it a grand caravan or not.
The float sending unit is messed up and don't know now much gas is in the tank. The float may be stuck in a higher position showing more gas, in reality the gas level is way below. Try using a rubber mallet and tap on the gas tank near the fuel pump. It may help free up the float.
