Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, for a no spark concern on a 1990 Honda CBR1000F, checks would be on:

  • presence of ignition +12 on the black/white wires to the ignition coil;
  • presence of pulsating voltage on the yellow/blue and blue/yellow wires to the ignition coil;
  • presence of pulsating low voltage between the yellow and white/yellow wires coming from the ignition pulse generator;
  • status of light green wire from neutral switch/indicator;
  • status of green/white wire from sidestand switch; or
  • try starting with the sidestand folded up and/or the clutch lever pulled in.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
