Did you pull the carby slide out when you checked the throttle?
If so you have put the slide in backwards.
Remove the top off the carby again & pull out the slide & needle.Turn it around & be sure to be carefull when you re- insert it you dont try to force it in. Also be sure that the needle(jet needle) goes in the hole(needle jet)properly & the slide seats all the way down.

This should fix your problem.

I thought I'd add, If this dosn't work. Check that you have some freeplay in the cable. Check this with the idle speed screw backed off(unscrewed). It's not uncommon for the cable to pop out of the cable adjuster at the throttle barrel or the adjuster at the top of the carby. If this dosn't work, remove the carby,re-install the slide & cable assembly.Look in the air boot/box side of the carby as you operate the throttle & make sure the slide comes all the way DOWN when you release the throttle

Starts but won't stay running...when reved it will

checked the idle control valve next to the throttle position sensor? Remove it and spray the passageway out with carb cleaner, then clean off the valve end (don't turn it while cleaning) Don't loose the "o" ring on the part either.
Before doing that though make sure all the vacuum hoses are attached and not cracked or broken.
Other than that, you may have a bad throttle position sensor or map sensor. Check (test) them before buying...they are expensive and you don't want to buy stuff you didn't need! You have the advantage here. I can't see the car. You can, and need to test!!!

My 400 ss is reving high when it is warmed up

First check entire length of throttle cable for kinks, crimping or binding. (especially near steering head) Check function of twist grip, it must rotate smoothly and spring back when released. Ensure choke is turned off after initial warm-up. If no change, turn out idle screw fully,(owner's manual refers) start bike and keep throttle at idle speed and screw in idle screw till it engages.

Skyjet 125

Also have the same bike and have just sorted that problem. Firstly the fuel pipe with the filter goes on the highest bit of fuel valve nearest the tank then the vaccum on the lowest bit. As for stalling when reved i found that the carburretor needle had come off the slide and when you opened throttle the needle never moved when slide and needle replaced and re attached it worked fine.

Suzuki is reving high for a long time and loss of power

When you say revving high, does that mean without you applying the throttle? If so, you may have a bad crank seal. Have you been noticing more smoke than normal? A drop in transmission oil?
Crank seals do go. The magneto side can be replaced without pulling the motor. the clutch side, however....... This I know from personal experience!

I have a cpi formla r 50cc. I went to stop by letting the throttle go and braking, but the bike carried on going untill i bracked really hard. even tho the throttle was in its original place the enigine is...

Find where the throttle cable connects to the butterfly valve on your carb. Twist the throttle and see if the butterfly valve is sticking open. Your cable or the valve itself might be stuck, and needs lubed. The sell tools to shoot compressed oil into the throttle cable sleve, or start cleaning / oiling hte carb depending on what you determine is sticking.

Honda cbr 600f2 throttle adjuster?

Sounds like you were adjusting the idle mix screw on the carburetor. I think www.bikebandit.com has OEM parts, with diagrams. Also, there are many forums for different motorcycles and their owners on the internet, I would try a Google search for the right forum for your bike. Good Luck!
