What can cause water to get in the spark plugs of a 1997 kia sportage its in the shop now and there saying blown head gasket but it doesnt leak anywhere else and the oil looks fine

Hi,if the water from the radiater or exspantion bottle is going down and you dont see eney leaks then what can be happening is the head gasket could be broken at a point where the water exscapes into the piston barrel instead of braking in a place where the water would go into one of the oil ways,I hope this helped.
when they are doing the job ask them to show you where the .brake was in the head gasket, all the best

1996 SPORTSMAN 400 2 STROKE, INITIAL PROBLEM WAS OVERHEATING AND PRESSURE IN RAD AND BLEW COOLANT HOSE OFF THE TOP OF THE HEAD. HEAD GASKET WAS LEAKING,CHANGED HEAD GASKET. PRESSURE IN RAD CONTINUED AND...

take the head off the jug again take a black magic marker and marker all over the gasket service and then tape 600 grit sand paper to glass or mirror and rubb the head acrossed in a cris/cross pattern and check this will tell you if its warped and (wet) sand it till the marker is gone re applacation might be nessasary if you wan tto sand it or have it milled for 80- 100$ you can check the jug this way too but the stud need to be removed email me at [email protected] for more info if you cant figure this out

Rebuilt top end twice water was leaking into oil so striped it down put new gasket kit in still got same problem

If it got realy hot you may of warped the head or cracked the cylinder. Do a compersition test to see how much pressure you are looseing. High would be the head witch would be easyer and cheaper to fix low you may need to replace the cylinder

Over tightening head nuts on aerox 50

Worry about it if water shows up where it shouldn't. Otherwise don't loose any sleep over it.

What is a top end kit for a suzuki ay50 and how easy is it to fit

a top end kit consits of a 1x piston 2x circlips 1x gudgeon pin 1x set of rings and 1x gasket set basically you take the carb off take the exhaust off take spark plug cap off undo bolts on head/barrel remove gasket slide the barrel off removing bottom gasket then take the circlips off 1 side then push the pin through i put a piecwe of card bord or rag in the crank to stop **** falling down through when you slide the pin out the piston will come out then you will see a bearing in the con rod leave that in there then get new piston put ciclips in one side then get the gudgeon pin put some oil on it and put it in place of the little bearing the push the pin through and put the circlip in and then put the rings on then in the ring gap you will see a little pin the gap in the ring goes in beetween that little gap then you put the base gasket on then inspect the barrel if there is dips in the lining re hone it or get some glass paper and rub it till its smooth but not too much or it will rub down to much then rub some oil in the barrel then put the barrel over the piston and compress the rings and slot the barrel down the pistonand put head gasket on and put head on and tighten bolts/nuts then replace carb good luck

Dip stick barrel

The dipstick tube can leak oil, and massive oil loss will damage the engine, causing it to overheat in the last few minues of its life.
Mostly likely that your heating up problem is low coolant/leaking coolant, a thermostat, clogged radiator, collapsed hose, bad cooling fan clutch, or head gasket.
