Retune Panasonic SA-EN38DB DAB radio + ipod dock

Chances are you have something bad with the tuner, like a bad IC

Have you checked the frequency of that Station?
Also check your aerial.

Listeners to DAB digital radio in the Merseyside area will need to retune on Wednesday 20th April following a frequency change that will affect local radio stations.

The local DAB multiplex carrying BBC Merseyside, Radio City 1-3 and Capital Liverpool among others will be moving to a new frequency in order to allow better reception over a wider area. The current frequency will be turned off late on Tuesday 19th April. The new frequency will go live from 6am on Wednesday 20th April, after which listeners will need to rescan their DAB radios in order to continue listening.

If there is a Menu button on the front of the TV, you can enter its user modes, to select auto tuning feature.

Not all ipod classic work with your SC-HC57 you need an older Panasonic SC-HC30 to work with that ipod :( or an iphone or ipod touch to work with your SC-HC57

Select the AM or FM wave band.
Tune the radio to a station then press and hold down the 1 or 2 or 3 pre tune station button until it beeps. Then this radio station is then set to which pre tune button you have selected.
Repeat to set the buttons for other radio stations.

You need to tunr the power off at the wall socket. Leave the unit off for at least 5mins. Then whilst holding the power on button on the unit down, turn the power back on at the socket, keep the power button depressed for at least 5secs. When you release it you should see -----------------, in the display. The unit has just been reset to factory mode. All features should now be present again. Hope this helps.

I went on to another site and downloaded apdf of the manual and sorted the problem

plug it and with power on but don't turn the station on, leave it in standby mode. then press and hold mem/set on your remote. then set the hour and press mem/set to move onto the minutes. when done press mem/set again and your time is sorted.

I have this radio too and from what I have read in a review on amazon suggests alarm does not tune to DAB only FM - very annoying! Contacted Goodman customer care and they suggested it was a problem with a component but maybe it is just the design.
