youve jammed the ratchet.you need to remove the engine casing and reset the mechanism, check the return spring.also you need to set the float level on carb to correct height.to check engine turns over remove spark plug,put in gear and turn back wheel.
If you mean it sounds like an electric motor just spins, it is your starter-the bendix gear is not kicking out and engaging the flexplate to turn the engine over. If it is just a clicking sound, it is probably a weak or dying battery.
The starter motor relay is in the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel.
Try turning the key to the run position, press and hold the brake, and shift into Neutral, and try to start. This will test if the DTR ( Digital Trans Range ) sensor is having an issue in the park position
have u got strong compression u mite of done the rings take the exhaust off and look in through exhaust port this will give u a good idea if not the look at mixture
could be an air flow problem or a semi blocked petrol filter.try changing air filters and fuel filter. if that doesn't work try dismantling the carb and cleaning iy out. i jus had a similer problem with my bandit 1200.
