Sounds like its running too weak ,thats why it runs ok with the choke on, check for air leaks around carb- engine and carb - airbox , use wd 40 and engine note will change when leak found..

Wont stay running

You should only use choke until you get a turn over. After that, turn off choke and it should start right up.

Dont wont to start to much fuel in cilinder

Never pull the starter more than 3-4 times under full choke. Pull 3-4 times on choke, push in to half choke and pull, should start.

Wont idle without choke being used

Main jet dirty. Likely Ethanol fuel fouling. Remove and clean jet. Check all rubber tubing to/from carb for cracks/deterioration and replace.

M842 chainsaw wont start when hot

I suspect your warm start procedure is the fault, the manual is not correct IMO. Any choke on a warm engine causes flooding, try this, if no better post back or return it for warranty replacement.

Start Procedure
Cold:
  1. Ignition on/off to on.
  2. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  3. Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws); pull starter and listen for an attempt to start. once heard (usually two pulls; no more than 4).
  4. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  5. Push (open) choke pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).
Warm:
  1. Ignition on/off to on.
  2. Set compression release – optional step even if saw is equipped with a compression release.
  3. Pull (close) choke, set fast idle (done when choke closed on some saws) – Do not pull with choke closed.
  4. Push (open) choke, pull starter until it starts. (usually first pull).

Choke wont stay in the closed position for starting

Been a while since I saw a Jonsered but I think if you bend the choke linkage a little that it will stay in the choke position.
