Oil in spark plugs on a 1997 honda accord se
Hi,
On the business end of the plug.
Wet, oily deposits. Will cause weak spark and eventually misfire.Fault:worn bores/piston rings or valve guides; sometimes occurs (temporarily)during running-in period. Plugs can be re-used after a thoroughcleaning.

On the outside of the Plug. Oil would be from a Leaking Gasket or Seal.
To fix it :-
there are a few things that can be wrong. 1) your valve seals could bebad. 2) your engines piston rings could be worn, causing engine blowby, also you can check your pvc (positive crankcase ventilation) valveto see if its plugged. to see if its plugged, simply pull it out andshake it to see if it rattles, if you hear it rattling then its good.
Any further help, let me know.
Thanks for using Fixya.
