you have to be careful to look above doors to see if you can see a place for pan to fly into as a butterfly thing and if there is something in there change him to fit that item and to get u to other places

unfortunately when these games were made, they were done on a flat platform, meaning the graphics qualities and effects wouldn't be spectacular. It's something your petz will just have to deal with i'm afraid. typical gaming glitch

- Golden Scarab 1 - Near Crew Compartment -
After defeating all the enemies in the Crew Compartment and going through the
now unlocked door, there is another door directly in front of you. Go on
through and you'll find a Map of Tairon and your first Golden Scarab sitting on
a windowsill.

- Golden Scarab 2 - Living Quarters -
Now that you have the ID Card, head all the way back to where you started and
go through the door that was locked. Here, climb up the boxes on your left,
then to your right. Finally, climb up the last set of boxes to your right. Now,
look around up here until you see a stack of two boxes between all the other
boxes. Jump over to here and grab all the items in the chests and in the small
area without a box. Down here is another Scarab.

- Golden Scarab 3 - Gas Compartment Passageway -
Kill the five soldiers in the first part of the Gas Compartment Passageway.
After you kill the last three, look for the large metal box on the left side of
the upper area. Run up it. Now, wall run up this wall and jump off of it. You
should end up on a catwalk. Up here is a Scarab.

<CHAPTER 4>

- Golden Scarab 4 - Great Bridge Square -
Unlock and go through the five green gem door near Muramasa's shop in Clock
Tower Plaza. Almost immediately to your left is a small fountain with a Golden
Scarab in it. So, go grab it!

- Golden Scarab 5 - Clock Tower Plaza -
After you find the dead body of the ninja Suke, the Scarab will be right in
front of you.

- Golden Scarab 6 - Near Han's Bar -
Once you discover you need a ticket to get into Han's Bar, turn around and a
Kunai will fly down near an alleyway. Run down said alley and grab the Scarab
at the end.

<CHAPTER 5>

- Golden Scarab 7 - Above Moat Road -
After you get the Pegasus Key, turn around and you'll see a Scarab. Wall run on
the right wall, then the back wall and land in the small nook. Grab the Scarab
here.

- Golden Scarab 8 - Drawbridge Hill -
Cross the Drawbridge and climb up the stairs. After you kill the three Black
Spider ninjas at the top, head to the save point and turn right. Bingo!

- Golden Scarab 9 - Drawbridge Hill -
Facing the save point, turn right and run down here and down the stairs. At the
bottom of the second stairs, turn left and grab the Scarab in the crevice here.

<CHAPTER 6>

- Golden Scarab 10 - Monastery; Archives -
After clearing out the Archives for the first time, run up to the second floor
and break open all the glass cases. A Scarab is located in one of them.

- Golden Scarab 11 - Monastery; Archives -
After grabbing the tenth Scarab, continue through the Archives and you'll find
this Scarab on the third floor, where you land from the Flying Bird Flip to get
up there.

- Golden Scarab 12 - Altar Hall -
Leave the Archives via the third floor and you'll come out on a walkway. Run
around to the other side and jump over to the area behind the fence. Grab the
Scarab here, then wall run back up to the walkway.

- Golden Scarab 13 - Underground Cemetery -
Put the Book of Eons you got from the Monk's safe back on the altar and drop
down. It is directly in front of you.

- Golden Scarab 14 - Between Econtra Babel Specus and Giant Fossil Area -
After defeating the six Brown Imps in Econtra Babel Specus, go through the gate
and kill all of the Cyclops Wasps. Now, from the exit on the lower floor, turn
around and follow the wall to your right. When you reach a dead end, wall run
up the left wall. You'll end up in a small area with the Scarab.

- Golden Scarab 15 - Near Tomb of the Eons -
Drop down to the bottom of Econtra Babel Specus (not from the top! From the
second save point) and kill the enemies here. Head into the tunnel and on your
right is the Scarab hiding in a small niche.

<CHAPTER 7>

- Golden Scarab 16 - Coffin Chamber -
At the bottom of Econtra Babel Specus, where the Bone Dragon's remains landed.
Check around the room and you'll find the Scarab in a small crevice.

- Golden Scarab 17 - Suspension Bridge Room -
Right when you enter the Suspension Bridge room, turn right and grab the
Scarab.

- Golden Scarab 18 - Suspension Bridge Room; Chamber of the Blue Eye -
In the Chamber of the Blue Eye, drop down to the bottom and run to where the
Ghul Archers are. Underneath that ledge behind the pillar is a Scarab.

- Golden Scarab 19 - Underground Cemetery; Junction Chamber -
After the underground floods, you'll end up in an area with an elevator. Look
around a bit and you'll spot a Scarab lying underwater.

<CHAPTER 8>

- Golden Scarab 20 - Near Military Gate; past Skull Door -
Remember that Scarab back in Chapter 4 you passed but you couldn't get to it
because of a door with a skull on it? Go there and open up the door, and grab
that Scarab!

- Golden Scarab 21 - Near Military Gate; past Skull Door -
From the 20th Scarab, wall run up the wall behind the chest and jump to the
first ledge. Repeat that, and turn left. See the Scarab? Wall run over to it.
Carefully, though; this is a somewhat difficult jump to the wall.

<CHAPTER 9>

- Golden Scarab 22 - Military Supply Base; near Warehouse -
As soon as you come out into the large open area past the tunnel, turn left and
grab the Scarab that is sitting in the corner.

- Golden Scarab 23 - Military Supply Base; Warehouse -
You probably noticed this one when you jumped from the first metal plate onto
the train car. Jump over to the second train car, then get a running start and
jump for the car with the Scarab on it. Before you land, hit X with the Dragon
Sword to air yourself and get a little farther. Grab the Scarab, then jump back
the same way.

- Golden Scarab 24 - Military Supply Base; Warehouse -
After you grab the Shutter Control Card Key and the Map of the Military Base,
leave the room and turn around. Wall run up and grab the Scarab hiding up here.

- Golden Scarab 25 - Military Supply Base; near Rooftop -
Run down the bridge after you destroy the helicopter and head to the pipes
blocked by chains. Wall jump between the two and grab this Scarab at the top.

To open the Golden Apple House, leave Ninteno DS turned on to the end of the game and let the credits run until you are told The End. Your Nintendo will then tell you it's saving your game, when you turn Nintendo back on The Golden Apple House is waiting for you in the Bonus section.
