The rear pneumatic tyre on the older Bugaboo are no different than a bicycle tyre and can be repaired the same way. Either by your self or your local bike shop. Most often it's no more than a leaky valve a $5 part.

How to Avoid Bike Tire Punctures?

Don't skimp on tire and tube quality. It's worth it! Match the size and type of tire to your riding. Some tires are made for speed, and some are made to be puncture resistant. Inflate tires to the proper amount (use a gauge), as too low or too high, can increase punctures.

Tube sealants keep bikes from getting flats!

When it comes to fixing and preventing flat tires on bikes there are many options from tire liners to puncture proof tires, but I have found that tube sealants have been the best solution. Tube sealants can be used to fix existing punctures in your tires and can work as a preventative measure against future punctures. Making them a great fix and first line of defense!

They're also super easy to apply, you just inject the sealant into the tire through the air valve on the tire. The sealant works to coat the inside of the tube protecting you from any future punctures and if there is a hole in your tire it will fill and seal off the hole. A simple solution for a very big problem!

Defy problems

Do you have a neighbour who hates you? I do ride bikes for 60 years now, and never had two punctures in a row within half a year. Actually last 10 years only one puncture in one of my tires, and from the place I could deduce someone had pressed something sharp from the side into the tire. So nothing from the oad.
And the newer tires, are almost not to puncture when driving on a road. It must be someone punching in these holes. Because if some sharp thing pointing up on your road your front tire would have been punctured at least once or twice too.

Adjust tyre beading

You may have broken the bead when you rode it while the tire was flat. More than likely you will need a new tire

Do you need to balance a wheel after a puncture

if the tire was not removed to repair the puncture(tire plug) then no,if the tire was removed to repair with an internal patch and the tire was not marked as to its location on the rim and the existing wheel weights not marked then i would say it should be rebalanced.if the tire location and wheel weights were marked then you should be okay and not require re balancing.

I have lexus 1999.es300.28000 miles.have crome wheels on it.one of the wheels, front on passenger side is loosing 4.5 lbs of air.the tyre is once puncture repaired.got checked with disc-count tyre.his...

mcdevito75 here, Your Tire Mechanic could be right regarding the chrome wheels leaking a bit of air, however, you have radial tires, either all season or steel belted, and once punctured radial tires are very hard to seal, very hard. I would advise a new tire rather than all 4 new chrome rims.

Run/Tire Issue

Run flats cant be repaired. You can however just replace all the tires with a different style tire like most all vehicles on the road and carry some fix-a-flat or a compressor and plugs for emergency needs till you can get this punctured tire patched.

I have a tire tube that's punctured. how do i get a new one?

If you walk often, best bet is to just replace the tube as you're going to have to take out the flat tube either way. It's also the fastest rather than trying to patch up a small tube and doesn't guarantee that the repair won't leak air. Small the tube, the expansion/contraction with heat/cold would raise that possibility.

Tubes can be bought even at Wal-Mart and other places for $3. You can always purchase a bicycle tire lever as these 12"/16" tires come off fairly easily. Of course if you absolutely cannot get them off for any reason a bicycle shop will be able to do so.

This is a great video showing how you can replace the tube.
