I solved it finally. There is a spring from the rear brake that attaches to an adjustable?? (Don’t know what it’s called but the rear brake light comes on). I adjusted that. It has a nylon nut. Now the cruise works just fine. Must have vibrated loose. After adjust the brake light still works. But screwing it down too far will cause the brake light not work. I’m must be adjusted correctly for both cruise and brake light to work properly. Thanks for all your suggestions
It is likely that there is an issue with the cruise control system on your Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Without more information about the specific symptoms and troubleshooting steps that you have already taken, it is difficult to provide a specific diagnosis. Some possible causes of cruise control not working on a motorcycle could include a malfunctioning cruise control module, a problem with the throttle position sensor, or a failure in the wiring or connections related to the cruise control system.
