My 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50, 800cc makes a noise near the drive shaft scratching metal. What can it be.

When riding the 2005 Suzuki 650 Boulevard makes a noise. Scratching noise in the middle of the engine near the drive shaft and sometimes on the third gear most all the time.

Where is the air filter located on a 2006 Suzuki C90T Boulevard Motorcycle?
It is not under the cover, If you find one there then you must be riding an 800cc C50.

The filter is under the so called 'tank'. To change it you need to remove the chrome speedo housing, unplug the instruments and you will see it up near your headstock. Remove the three screw that hold it in place and you will be able to lift it out.

My 1992 Suzuki Intruder 800 VS cranks and runs fine but when I put it in the gear something shuts It Off ..what's causing this? The kickstand sensor switch is not hooked up and the clutch sensor switch is not hooked up they haven't been hooked up in eons. I looked at the clutch sensor switch anyway and it fell to pieces even though it's not hooked up anyway I heard something about a gear shift switch but I do not know where it's at.. please help me troubleshoot this problem what else would be making it shut down it's got to be some kind of wiring problem..I have a lot of oil that comes out of the front cylinder..carburetor for needs adjusting or maybe rebuilding but could I have a little clog in that pipe causing it to shut down..? I read that online somewhere but I have shorty drag pipes no baffles just real short straight pipes
