Can I install a junction box before my water heater junction box?

Junction box is fine.
Must be accessible and not hidden inside wall.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Color-codewire.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-select-right-wire-nut.html

43 feet is not over 100 feet, so wire size can stay same.
Recommend 30 amp breaker and 10 gauge wire for 4500 watt water heater.
If circuit has 20 amp breaker and 12 gauge wire, recommend 3800 watt elements.

Ok i have a 95 ford aerostar van and i need to hook up a wiring harness to pull a trailer but i need to know the color code for the wiring in the van ????

I'm going to assume that you don't have the tow pkg and need the standard color codes. They are as follows.
left turn sig. yellow
right turn sig. dark green
bu light black w lt. green stripe
parking/running lt's brown w white stripe
ground black.
When splicing the wires I recommend you pick up a small plastic (waterproof) junction box to keep the connections clean
and it's easier to trace a short, any parts store should have this
in kit form for short money.

250 ninja dropped on right side at 0mph. signal broken and scratches around signal. how much to repair?

Go to Powersportseast.com and look up your bike on the Parts Fische. It will give prices and you can order thru them if you want. Signals are the cheap part by a long shot! I have been rebuilding a Salvage 08 250 ninja and have had to replace A LOT on it. The plastics alone are around 250-350. If it is really bad on the plastic try Ebay and wait till you find exactly what you need. The signal is around 40 bucks give or take

Hobart Dishwasher electrical connection

Hi chefmail,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

You want to know: Somebody disconnected our AM-14 to redo the floor, and left it disconnected. You know basically where the wires went, but could use some help or a diagram.

I generally don't recomend this to the average homeowner so lets assume you're above average.
Lets also assume that the fellow who removed it knew what he was doing (he should have reinstalled it for you).
If all you need is help with the wireing:
First double check that the power is off.
There should be a romex connector a few inches from the end of the wire. If it's not there he may have left it attached to the junction box under the d/w. You must use a romex connector to connect the wire to the junction box. Make sure the romex connector is on the cover insulation not on the individual wires. The wires are color coded. Connect the blacks together, the whites together and the ground to the green wire (sometimes to a gound screw). Be carefull that the wire nuts are tight but none of the wire ends broke. Before you put the cover on finish instaling the d/w, water line, drain line, counter screws and be carefull to make sure the d/w is perfectly level. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Turn on the power and test the unit. Then put the junction box cover on. All that's left is the kick plate. If you run into problems you might consider utilizing our Repair Directory to find a repairman.
