Hi. My 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C50 started running rough all of a sudden and has very little power. It will not stay running at idle speed. What should I check first

The bike has not been ridden for several years, but has been started up on occasion. I just had the oil changed. It doesn't show any sign of leaks. It has 7900 miles on it and has run great until this moment. I did run low on fuel and wondered if the "old fuel" maybe the problem...?

Remove the carb and clean the pilot jet. Hold it up to the light to make sure you can see through it before re-installing it.

2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50 engine dies

Even though you probably don't have that many miles on the bike, or if you do have a lot riding time on it, it sounds to me like you need a valve adjustment. That's a high reving bike for that engine that works pretty hard so you might have 1 - 3 loose valves.
