I have a 2006 HD Sportster that when I try and start, it will turn over but not start. It acts like it isn't getting enough gas, I smell gas in the carburetor after trying to start it. I am just curious as this is the first time I have worked on it all by myself. Is the hose coming off the bottom of the tank is it supposed to connect to the back of the carburetor?? I have tried all I know and am getting somewhat depressed..
