I would normally it is probably stuck, but the starter motor doesn't have the normal bendix on a spiral grooved shaft. It looks like it is permanently connected. I tried to see if there was some type of starter clutch behind it, and there is. It should release when the starter stops spinning.

My 2003 suzuki katana 750 is not running i have power to the ignition and it dose engage the starter. the carbs are pulling gas but its not starting

take it back to where you had it repaired it is their responsibility to get it running.

Seeth91 model doesny turn over had starter out its fine bike has sat for 4 years outside my email [email protected] no fuse at soliod no horn slow turn sigs fully battery charged fuses cheked

even though the battery is charged it could still be bad and giving enough cranking AMPS. to engage the starter, try borrowing a good battery and trying it, if it woeks taht is your problem

I have a 1999 suzuki gsxr-750 srad,it is a great bike but is it supposed to **** hard when the clutch is FULLY engaged when shifted into 1st gear?and where do i pour the clutch fluid if it uses any?

There should a removable cap near the clutch lever. It should be held on with two or three screws. This would be your clutch cylinder. Any problems give me a shout.

If it is the motor, "ouch" check if starter is engaged with starter drive jammed into ring gear

Clutch will not engage

Have you tried adjusting the clutch cable? It may need adjusting, since before the replacement the gears were engaging.

My 1992 Suzuki Intruder 800 VS cranks and runs fine but when I put it in the gear something shuts It Off ..what's causing this? The kickstand sensor switch is not hooked up and the clutch sensor switch is not hooked up they haven't been hooked up in eons. I looked at the clutch sensor switch anyway and it fell to pieces even though it's not hooked up anyway I heard something about a gear shift switch but I do not know where it's at.. please help me troubleshoot this problem what else would be making it shut down it's got to be some kind of wiring problem..I have a lot of oil that comes out of the front cylinder..carburetor for needs adjusting or maybe rebuilding but could I have a little clog in that pipe causing it to shut down..? I read that online somewhere but I have shorty drag pipes no baffles just real short straight pipes
