Have a 00 suzuki gsx 600f katana. Can the bike still start even though the starter solenoid is bad?

Make sure the ECU is working properly. Check all fuses to make sure good. Check starter and battery wires for good connection and electrical current

The power regulator may be at fault.

check carb float level and firing order, out of time

check your starter switch, it may be even grounding, which would cause all these problems

There are lowering kits available for the rear suspension then you need to drop the frt the same amount that you drop the rear,you can drop the frt by loosing the frt triple tree clamps and using a ruler let the forks come up through the same amount that you drop the rear(this will help keep the bike from over steer.

If there is a clicking noise when you hit the starter button, then the relay should be fine.
If there is no sound, check the fuses before removing the starter.
