its 350cc or 11.8 ounces in the Clyma book, but that's for a 1986 onwards model. you can vary the amount you use to suit your style of riding anyways. I doubt it would be that far from the mark.

Use Yamaha suspension oil #01. Amount is 19 ounces. Oil level from top surface w/o cap nut is 3.15" to 5.51". I am sending you a link to a site where you can download a free shop repair manual. It is actually a bit complicated as you will see in the manual.

Recommended fork fluid: Pro-Honda Suspension Fluid SS-8 Fork fluid capacity/level: 474 ± 2.5 cm3 (16.0 ± 0.08 US oz)/100 mm (3.9 in)
