SOURCE: % hp Honda Motor runs on choke
Dear LC39B,
Is it possible you are blaming the wrong part of the machine? Did you try the Honda Motor on its own? I am asking , because if the pump of the washer has some fault or a bit jammed, this will demand a lot of power from the Honda. You can try the Honda with no water connection and no gun.
Regarding the Honda motor, you should check the electrical system also. I am saying this because you did not mention it, in your service procedure.
Regards,
MG.

SOURCE: I have a 88 honda accord with carb that i cant get to idle down
Should be an idle adjusting screw on the side of the carburator that you can adjust to move your idle down.

SOURCE: craftsman 20 hp 42 in deck leaks gas into the oil pan.
could put a inline shut off valve in the fuel line and shut it off when you finish or fix it right? .
you need to replace the float the needle valve and seat ( the part that the needle valve pushes against to stop the gas inlet maintained by float level.
You need to find you engine mod# type# code# code is not important
look on overhead valve covers for these #s they are right in line wherever you find the #s if its an overhead valve engine
go to partstree.com and find briggs logo and click on it and enter your #s or choose from the ones they give and match them with yours and you should be able to find the part numbers you need for this carb.and get them locally or order from them.
maybe this will help cure your issue
