Question about Honda Motorcycles
The wiring is old..plastic worn off causin shorts..uneed to inspect harness..it will take time. The vibration cud b in the headlite where alot of connections are

Connect the headlights through a relay. The fuses cannot cope with the startup current of the new headlight.

SOURCE: headlights always blow out
I took mine in for this same problem. They told me the alternator was charging "too good" and they replaced it. Sounded fishy to me, but the alternator was under warranty at the time so it was a free fix. In any case after that my headlights never blew out again.

you more than likely have a shorted wire in the headlight harness... you will have to check the wiring from the headlight bulbs to see if it has been pinched up against a sharp metal edge causing a grounded wire, or maybe the harness was crushed by an improper headlight installation.

if the starter is jammed, you can probably get it up on the center stand put it in top gear and **** the rear wheel back and fourth. that may do it. or jumping the starter itself may do it.
