Your crank case oil lubricates all of your internals including your clutch pack! if your crankcase oil is full and you clutch doesn't work still drain you oil and remove the right side crankcase cover that is where your clutch pack resides remove the clutch basket and check the clutch pack plates for ware they may need replacement! Empty your gas tank and start with fresh gas good chance your carburetors are gummed up from stale gas which will make it run rough and usually loose the ability to idle! as for your font brake check to make sure the master cylinder for it is topped up with fluid is so try bleeding it if after bleeding the brakes no improvement is noticed remove the front brake assembly pull the pads off and check to see if there is any movement in the calipers themselves they may have seized from sitting! and there is no honda virago, virago is a yamaha and i think if u have an 82 xv its a yamaha virago

SOURCE: 95 xv750 Virago fuel leak
Probabilly a stuk carburettor float or needle.
Try to solve this problem to gently tap on the carburettor bodies. If this doesn't help you have to clean out the carburettors, and/or replace the float neeldes

SOURCE: No rear brake master cyl.full
If it has been sitting on the sidestand, the cylinders on the low side occasionally become fouled - which will clear up pretty fast or after changing the plugs. There is probably gunk in the rear caliper from sitting & dealer may want to check the fronts as well. Dealers are really expensive & I would guess that they would want $250 or so just to fix the rear brake issue. When i needed all my calipers cleaned, my dealer wanted almost $1000., so I did them myselves for about $50. Rick

SOURCE: Do I need to change brake fluid, clutch fluid and
Unless you have a record of these fluids being changed in the past 18 months you should definitely change them. These fluids will degrade over time and need to be changed at appropriate intervals.
You should also flush the engine radiator and cooling system and replace with new coolant to the manufacturer's specs unless this has been done in the past 18 months.
Also ensure you change the engine oil and filter frequently (certainly more frequently than the manufacturer maximum interval specs which is based on optimum driving conditions which does not reflect reality.)
Frequent fluid changes = cheap preventative maintenance.
Brake fluid - every 2 years minimum
Clutch fluid - every 2 1/2 years minimum
PS fluid - every 3 years
Coolant flush and change - every 2 years
Engine oil - every 3500-4000 miles or 5 months minimum whichever is sooner
Oil filter - every second oil change.

SOURCE: front brake wont build pressure
Stuck caliper or defective brake hose( internally) are both possibilities.
