Question about Honda Motorcycles
Hi, Rene for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs -fluid capacities and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can not find the best tool you ever bought for your Honda, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

If you push the button and the solenoid clicks , the button is good. If you short across the cable terminals on the starter solenoid and the starter works, the solenoid is bad. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works, you need starter brushes. If anything else is wrong with the starter (bad armature) , you need a new starter.
