Other answer is correct. If you dont see any leaks an old trick that was tought to me was to fill the inside with water.. obviously not up to electricle components and with the battery removed.... but bye filling the inside on a trailer about 1/3 to 1/2 way you can easily see if you have hull damage/pump housing sealing issues/drain sealing issues etc
You have a hole in the water jacket that surrounds your exhaust, usually on the bottom you cant find it till running on the lake or have water hooked to the engine for on land running the engine
FIX hook up the water at the back its a hose fitting and turn the water on it should cycle through the motor and exhaust possibly revealing hole but turn it on and it will start squirting some where?? take off the whole aluminum exhaust /water jacket, take it to a welder that does tig weld on aluminum , usually just a patch. back in and off ya go. OH And drain it more next time! avoid this with a good tilt...

there will be a black cap with a red hose attached to it you have to buy the fitting if you dont have one it should be located in rear compartment mounted on the wall you will have to pull the tray out sometimes they mount them under your dry box in the front but most of the time they be in the back

The spark should be a strong blue color. Here is a web page that will help you diagnose the problem, and isolate the bad part:
http://www.electrosport.com/technical-resources/diagnosis-center/fault-finding-guide
Go a ways down the page, and you will see a .pdf file you can download, to help you troubleshoot.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Forelectrical, start with the CDI kill signal. Find the Black/Yellow wire in theelectrical box that goes directly from the CDI module to the terminal board.Unplug that wire. Now the lanyard and Stop switch will NOT stop the engine. Theonly way to stop the engine is to apply full choke and starve the engine forair.
Now start the engine and see if it runs properly.
If youneed to run longer, either remove the jet pump and drive shaft, or take it tothe launch ramp and test it while backed down into the water, still strapped tothe trailer.
IF the engine runs properly with Black/Yellow unplugged, next test is to bypassthe LR-505 Start/Stop module. Reconnect Black/Yellow, and refer to my signaturelinks for details on bypassing the LR-505 module.
Also checkfor pistons, cylinders or engine cooling if they are working.
Hope thiswill help you. Good Luck.

A non electrical reason for a shut down under normal riding conditions is a dirty carburetor. Specifically a small amount of corrosion or dirt on the teeter-totter/needle assembly in the carburetor. A simple cleaning with the carburetor still attached to the motor will usually fix this. However you mention your display turning off. Get your socket set out and open up the electronics box. If There is water in the electronics box you have found the problem. Condensation/water getting into the electronics box will randomly drop you to an idle or shut you off for no visible reason. I have purchased boats with rebuilt engines that still shut down and stranded you in the middle of the lake after jumping a wake. Open the electronics box and let it thoroughly dry out over night. Apply some grease to the o-ring when closing the box to keep future water from getting in. Hope this gets you back on the water.
