94 yamaha fzr 600. only firing on 1 an 2 cyl

94 yamaha fzr 600. no lights no gauges and only firing on numbers 1 and 2 cyl. possibly a relay?? but which one controls all of those items?

    all fuses are fine..

i thought it might be a coil but...

one coil powers cyl 1 and 3 and the other 2 and 4
so it can't be a bad coil.
everything that isn't working can be traced back to the digital ignitor...does that make sense?
i'm wondering if i burned it up bc my battery was dead so i push started it and didn't think anything about it til later on that same day my battery blew up internally. i'm thinking now i had a bad ground and it killed the battery then fried the ignitor....

what are your thoughts on that?

Actually if its running or seems to be running on 1 or 2 cycle Believe or not your problem just low on gas One piece of advice Don't just put gas in it Turn it to reserve which is arrow up Arrow down is on and try starting it and its possible u may need a new petcock That is the bikes way of telling u you need to turn to reserve and you do and your good Unfortunely something it gets stuck in between & can be hard to get it out Don't look in the tank cuz it seems like u have gas over 3 gallons set aside for reserve Orr take the petcock and you see peace &_good luck Chad

No one thing controls those items.
The ignition and headlight circuits
each have their own fuses under the seat.

If you have power to both of the coil sets
then the coil for cylinder 3 and 4
might be faulty.

Lights may just have a blown fuse.

You have more than one problem
going on there.

Something doesn't add up here because

if you have spark on 1 and 2 then the coils
and the ignitor must be working.

If there is spark on #1 then #4 should
also have spark unless the wire, cap or
    spark plug is bad.

Same for the other, #2 and #3 are on the same
coil, if one sparks the other should too
unless the wire, cap or plug is bad.

I would check the spark output again
    with a new plug.

Miss fire on number 1 cyl ,spark from plug ,cleaned carb cyls 3-4 hot 2 nearly as hot 1 luke warm

I would have to say that I think it's not miss fireing.
It could be the coil for those 2 cyclinders. It could be in the carbs. When you cleaned the carbs did you remove them from the engine and dismantel them completly? Clean every parts and blow out all the air and fuel ports. Did you seperate the carbs from each other? If you did the carbs will need to be synced again. Good Luck.
