I just got this bike but need to know where i can get affordable fairings

if bike cant be ridden
advertise in suitable.. local bike sale listings as a parts bike see whats offered to you
sell the motor gearbox first while its running
take the rest apart and sell the good bits
..or
if bike is ride able
take your time and seek parts you need out of your area ..the parts listed can be posted to you

I've had several Vulcans, and they were never designed to be fitted with a complete fairing. Fitting a specific windscreen and engine bars is as far as any rider went with our group. Leg shields could then be attached to the engine bars is you really wanted them, usually made from weatherproof leather.

Cant see why it wont fit as I think the frames are the same onlly the engine siz is different

The model didn't change during that time period. so a fairing from any bike made in that time period for your model will fit. But try "Skidmarx" for an after market fairing.

Actually u can reach in and just pull the 3 prong connector right off of the bulb.Then pull off the rubber cover with the tab that is at the top of the circular rubber cover. The bulb is held in by a small wire that hooks on both sides. Replace the bulb and reverse the steps.There is no need to remove any fairings to replace the bulb.

hi there ,this may or may not help m8,, but ,, wen puttin fairings to gether,and having a hand full of bolts n washers,, u will two of the same bolts and washers for the fairing ,,one 4 each side,, best thing is to divide the bolts out ,,,and the ones that isnt the same will be 4 the head set fairing, put the head set on 1st,, then put the belly pan piece if u have 1 onto the left side of the fairing 1st b4 mounting to the bike,, usually the best side to start is left fairing 1st leaving right side till last,, ,, hope this helps,, cheers
