Question about 2006 Piaggio NRG Power DT

2006 Piaggio NRG 50 MC3 will not stay running on high revs

Having trouble keeping it running. It starts every time on the kickstart, ticks over with no problems But when you rev the bike it will run on high revs for about 30 seconds then just stop as if it has no fuel left,then if you leave it for about 5mins it will start then just do the same thing over and over again as if no fuel. I have replaced,carb,spark plug,ht lead,fuel,air filter,fuel pipes,fuel vacum pump,clutch,belt,rollers,battery.oil. So would someone please tell me what else it could or might be as this is doing my head in. Many thanks on any help on this matter. Noel. @

My rear drum is filed with oil becaus the seal has broke i am wondering where an find the part and what is the part called?

Your best bet is to contact the importer parts dept and ask the question.

No fuel, or you lost spark. Check wire connections,especially the plug, cdi, and coil wire. Often the kill switch is off, or the kick stand safety switch is on.

A service manual is a valuable tool with an aging bike. I suggest the dealer/mfr. or Clymer books. In the meantime, go to the library reference section...646 stacks should have what you need.

I have a piaggio zip 50 that cuts out when i rev it half way it has been sittin there for 2 years and i think my carbureta needs cleaning but i dont no how to take it apart i need a diagram

can anyone help me? when i turn on my piaggio nrg its fine but then the revs start going up by themselfes and when i pull the throttle back it just cuts out. i would be greatful if someone told what was wrong with it thanks

Check air filter and exhaust. Is it possible that someone tampered with the bike?

also maybe sticky drive belt, not acting on the variactors properly.

Piaggio nrg mc3 will not start

check the timing its probally off by some degree. its located on the other side of the bike ( opposite side of the shifter) in the maintance manual it will give you the timing defree needed.
